History
Contech Systems, Inc has been providing staffing services since 1998. Established by Joseph Contino, Contech Systems, Inc originally provided independent IT consulting services focused on large databases, application design & development, and technical project management.

Executive Team
Joseph Contino - President
As Founder and President of Contech Systems, a leading national IT staffing company, Joe leverages 25 years of IT experience to deliver high quality services to our clients. Joe leverages his extensive technology and business background to lead sales, recruiting and operations for the company. Prior to leading Contech, Joe specialized in solution architecture, software development, and database performance/ tuning. His career expanded into project management and eventually business leadership. Joe consistently built strong relationships that have lasted decades. These attributes have enabled Contech Systems to evolve into a full-service firm providing staff augmentation and direct placement in the IT field, as well as value-added training services.
Joe has been an “out of the box” innovative thinker and leader determined to help people and clients. Some examples of this are:
• Selected individuals with the aptitude to complete intensive Technical and non-Technical training programs (Bootcamps), preparing them for careers in large companies.
• Leveraged untapped knowledge of senior/retired population to fill roles that mutually benefit workers and client companies
• Creation of a proven, curated recruiting process, that saves clients time and money • Conceptualization of an “Opportunity Based Program” to partner with companies to provide pathways for diverse individuals to enter the workplace to better themselves
His first-hand experience with many complex IT applications and technologies provides a clear understanding of our clients’ needs. This helps ensure the services we provide are of the highest quality. Joe has an advanced certification in software development from the Programming Systems Institute in New York City and is an active member of the TechServ Alliance (National Industry Association). He has lived in NYC since immigrating to the US as a young child and married his teenage sweetheart. Together they have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and recently celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Dennis Caparelli - Vice President
Dennis manages many aspects of Contech Systems’ day-to-day operations and maintains a hands-on approach to all recruiting, quality and customer services. He joined the company in 2003 and applies his extensive technology and financial background to benefit our customers and consultants.
Dennis previously held an executive position with Prudential Financial, managing many major applications including prudential.com; Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Treasury Systems; Corporate Funds Transfer Systems; and HR Systems.
Dennis started his career with Metropolitan Life in New York in 1969, ultimately advancing to lead Met Life’s Field Automation program from 1986 to 1996. In that role, Dennis was responsible for the Hardware, Networking and Software Development in 1,200 Met Life branch offices.
